Carmel Academy Sironcha, the esteemed CBSE stream of education, has started in the year 2015 in a tiny  tin-shed, with just 48 students. Today Carmel Academy Sironcha, the esteemed CBSE stream of education, has started in the year 2015 in a tiny  tin-shed, with just 48 students. Today it has grown into a three storey building having 450 students, hailing mainly from agricultural families. In spite of all the hardships located in a tribal and Naxalite affected area, the children are very ambitious and receptive. Through the medium of Carmel Academy, we would like to connect this institution with other towns of India as well as the western countries of the world.

I thank the management of CMI Service Society, the Mother Provincial and the congregation of Daughters of Our Lady of Mercy - Mysore, for venturing in this area by humanizing and divinizing them. I also thank the former Principals for their noble service they rendered to the school. I hope and pray  within a few months our school will be affiliated to the CBSE Board, Delhi. I welcome all the nature loving people to the wooden fossil sanctuary of Sironcha and the historic Kaleshwar temple situated close to our school.
